La Maestra Foundation's 23rd Annual Golf Tournament

On Friday, April 3, 2026, please join us at La Maestra's Annual Golf Tournament from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided starting at 11 a.m., tee time will be at noon, and dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Please consider becoming a sponsor to provide essential services for under-resourced individuals and families. Your sponsorship ensures this event's success and funds La Maestra's Generations Center for Youth Advancement (CYA).

Since its inception, La Maestra’s mission has been to integrate essential social services supporting economically challenged youth. In 2012, La Maestra launched the Generations Center to promote well-being in City Heights through programs guiding youth in health, education, and career opportunities.

We focus on improving health and wellness services to meet community needs. For over three decades, La Maestra has provided holistic, wraparound services to address poverty and delivered high-quality, affordable, culturally and linguistically competent healthcare for low-income, uninsured, underinsured, homeless, and previously incarcerated individuals in central, east, and south San Diego County.

The Generations Center offers self-esteem and leadership programs, academic support, art classes focused on culture and healing, fitness and nutrition activities, computer skills, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) education, field trips, and after-school and summer enrichment, as well as career advancement opportunities. In 2025, the Generations Center served 254 youth through the CYA Program.

La Maestra's golf event unites San Diego County partners at Sycuan Singing Hills Golf Resort – Willow Glen Course in El Cajon. It brings together healthcare professionals, philanthropists, and others committed to accessible, high-quality health services and a brighter future for under-resourced youth in City Heights and nearby communities.
